| The Campus School of Carlow University Student Aria Eppinger's Idea Wins Billionaire Warren Buffet's "Build Your Own Business" Contest |

10-Year-Old's Idea for "Shine so Bright" Clothing Prevails over Four Others
Pittsburgh, Pa. Lots of people claim to have a million dollar idea, but Aria Eppinger, a fourth grader at The Campus School of Carlow University, has come up with an idea that has made Billionaire Warren Buffet pay attention.
Eppinger, 10, a Squirrel Hill resident, had her entry for "Shine so Bright" - an idea she had for attaching light-up decorations to clothing with electricity-conducting thread and batteries - selected as the individual winner over four other finalists. Along with the other finalists, she will receive $5,000, and 10 Class B shares of stock from Buffet's company, Berkshire Hathaway Inc., which is worth about $80 a share.
Eppinger entered her idea into the "Grow Your Own Business Challenge," a national online competition for kids age 7-16, to show their entrepreneurial business ideas. She was chosen as one of five finalists from more than 3,000 entries, and traveled to Omaha, Nebraska to present her idea to Buffet and the judges for the contest. The challenge is part of the Secret Millionaires Club, a TV series on the Hub Network that also is on the Web at www.smckdis.com, and is sponsored by CreditReport.com.
Eppinger's idea combines her love of science and math with her love of crafting.
"I came up with 'Shine so Bright' when my family was making light up sweatshirts at the holidays," she said. "It took forever for my dad to finish soldering my sweatshirt. I wanted a quick and easy way to make a beautiful light-up design on any piece of clothing."
