Other speakers include, Karyn Sproles, Carlow's dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Anne Rashid, an assistant professor of English; Bill DeBernardi, an associate professor of art; Sylvia Rohr, an associate professor of art history; and George Phillips, an adjunct philosophy professor. There will also be theatrical interludes by Carlow University Theatre's Fly By Night Productions directed by Steve Fatla.

"One of the purposes of the event is to focus on the work of artists, writers and philosophers here at Carlow as they wrestle with the major questions of life and its themes within their separate disciplines," said Bill Stewart, assistant professor and chair of the philosophy department at Carlow. "I am looking forward to hearing their views on these issues of life and art and allowing the public to enjoy the work of Carlow scholars."

This event is sponsored by the philosophy, theater, English, and art departments at Carlow. It is free to the public and free parking is available in Lot C with a parking pass from Frances Warde Hall at Carlow. Lunch will be available for $5.25 per person
